5th Annual Men in Heels Presented by Alpine Bank Benefiting the Women’s Resource Center
Men in Heels is an annual fundraising event, benefitting the programs WRC offers. Each year, businesses pull together four-man teams, and the teams race against each other while wearing… that’s right… HIGH HEELS! Have you ever heard the saying “walk in a mile in her shoes?” Well, this is the best opportunity to do so! Though, instead of walking, these men are running at a full sprint, competing against each other. It is one of the most fun and exciting events in Durango!
The 5th Annual Men in Heels is almost here, taking place on September 10th at 5:30 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds! WRC is currently recruiting teams and searching for sponsors. If you are interested in either, check out the info below!
We’ll have Deakon from the Breakfast Club on 107.9/92.9 The Point, Jonathan from our Farmington stations, Tom from sales, and Chopsticks from KRWN representing Hutton Broadcasting. You can expect an incredible display of athleticism and speed from our sprinters!
