KDGO Durango’s News Talk
KDGO (AM1240/98.3FM) is Durango’s only news talk station, and rightly so, as it has the leaders in news talk radio – Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Clay Travis & Buck Sexton and Mark Levin, among others! KDGO was first licensed in 1958, making it among the oldest radio stations in the region. The station’s first transmitter was located in the Burns National Bank building at the corner of Main Avenue and 9th Street in Durango. In those early days, the station was owned by regional broadcasting pioneer Jim Gober. These days, KDGO is licensed to Hutton Broadcasting Company. The programming, studios and ownership of the station have changed over the years, now simulcasting on dual AM & FM frequencies and a 24/7 stream! With regional and local news and information programming, KDGO is positioned to be “Durango’s News Talk Station” for many years to come!
