Jessi Kay was born right here in beautiful Durango, Colorado. Often referred to as the “original Durango gangster,” she spent her childhood running the streets of this scenic mountain town. She was a Durango High School graduate and Fort Lewis College alumni where she got her radio start at KDUR College Radio. She started her radio journey as a mediocre receptionist, eventually taking on the mid days as an on air personality on 99x, and now is your morning co host for The Breakfast Club on 92.9 The Point. .
An avid lover of all things old school hip hop, she is also your host for Back in the Day with Jessi Kay, every night 8-10pm and a little extra Thursdays from 5-6. She sits on the marketing committee or Big Brothers Big Sisters. Jessi Kay, annually volunteers at many non profit events including Men Who Grill and Men in Heels for the Women’s Resource Center, Casino Night For The High Noon Rotary Club, Fashion Dos and Don’ts & The Chili Cook-off for Snowdown just to name a few. She has a beautiful daughter who also happens to be a genius. She enjoys being a tennis mom, shooting the occasional gun, a stiff cocktail on a sunny patio, golf, going to music festivals and writing bios in the third person
