James “The Newsman” Johnson is the host of Straight Shot News, a hyperlocal Four Corners News and Talk show. His goal is to be ‘Straight down the middle of the Four Corners political and spiritual conversation’ by bringing all sides of important conversations together.
James is a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He and his wife Armella have ten kids and grandkids. His full time job is in real estate on the Durango market, and he
teaches a monthly class called “The Next Level Man” in Durango, bringing men of distinction together to share wisdom and expert with those who need it.
James enjoys four wheel off-roading in the San Juan mountains with his family, livestock and horses, and is a local rodeo announcer.
