Giving Tuesday
Tuesday, December 3, 2024
Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity and top nonprofit fundraiser held on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, December 3. Giving Tuesday inspires individuals to support local nonprofits. In Colorado, organizations use ColoradoGives.org as a central hub for donations, with each gift amplified by a statewide $1 million Incentive Fund.
In Durango, many local nonprofits rely on Giving Tuesday to support programs ranging from food security to family services, helping make a substantial impact in southwest Colorado communities.
Hutton Broadcasting teams with the Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado for a Giving Tuesday radio takeover. Your favorite radio personalities from 92.9/107.9 The Point and 99.7 Radio Free Durango interview nonprofits live.
This initiative allows Coloradans to unite and maximize support for causes close to home while participating in a global movement to emphasize the power of collective action.
For more information on how to participate or donate, visit SWCOgives.org.
