Durango DEVO Bike Swap 2026: Buy, Sell, Support a Cause

Gear up for Durango Colorado’s ultimate 2026 cycling event on April 25.

Mark your calendars for the 17th Annual Durango DEVO Bike Swap, to score incredible deals on bikes, cycling gear, and accessories, while supporting local group-based mountain biking programs for children and adults.

    Set for Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Chapman Hill Ice Rink in Durango, this community event allows you to buy or sell new and used mountain bikes, road bikes, kids’ bikes, and cycling accessories while supporting local youth mountain biking development programs.

    Proceeds benefit Durango DEVO, a 501(c)(3) youth non-profit organization “dedicated to developing lifelong cyclists, one ride at a time.”

    Don’t miss the live broadcast from 107.9/92.9 the Point from 9 – 11 a.m., at the Durango DEVO Bike Swap, and help preserve the future of cycling in Durango! 

    Event Details 

    Durango DEVO expects an expanded selection of affordable bikes and accessories for all skill levels, from beginner-friendly to professional-grade bikes for an eco-friendly ride or tackling Durango’s legendary mountain biking trails.

    • Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
    • Location: Chapman Hill Ice Rink, Durango, CO 
    • Hours:
      • Sellers drop off items on Friday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
      • The main event happens on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
      • Unsold items must be picked up on Sunday, April 26, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
    • Admission: $1 per person to enter Durango DEVO Bike Swap ($5 to sell)
    • Live broadcast: Your fave emcees from 107.9/92.9 the Point set the scene from 9–11 a.m. at the event

    The Durango DEVO Bike Swap is Four Corners region’s most exciting bicycle recycling event that connects preowned bikes and accessories with new, grateful owners. It’s also a crucial fundraising event for Durango DEVO’s team-based mountain biking programs, serving local children, youth, and adults.

    Known for having the lowest commission rate in the region, the Durango DEVO Bike Swap is a feel-good way to re-sell bikes and gear while supporting a great cause.

    Organized by Durango DEVO, a renowned cycling organization, this community-centered bike and bike gear recycling event brings together cycling enthusiasts, professional cyclists, the environmentally-conscious, and families from across southwest Colorado and beyond.

    Your participation directly contributes to nurturing the Colorado and Four Corners cyclist community and supports sustainable transportation initiatives.

    What You Could Find at Durango DEVO Bike Swap

    Get ready to discover a heap of cycling gear! At the Durango DEVO Bike Swap, you could find:

    • Bikes for all ages and levels: You’re likely to find children’s bikes, rugged mountain bikes, comfortable cruisers, and professional bikes.
    • Components and accessories: The Durango DEVO bike swap typically has bike shocks, wheels, components, bike shoes, pedals, helmets, pumps, and bike packs.
    • Apparel: Look for cycling jerseys and other apparel.
    • Handy extras: Find practical items like wrenching materials and bike racks.
    • Unique finds: Keep an eye out for those special, hard-to-find items like trailers that attach to your bike.

    How to Participate in the Bike Swap

    For Sellers

    • Pre-register online to snag your spot.
    • It’s a flat $5 fee to sell.
    • Set competitive prices for your used bikes and cycling accessories.
    • Drop off your items during the designated check-in period.
    • Pocket 78% of sales (22% supports Durango DEVO).
    • No need to print your own item tags; scannable tags are provided at the event!
    • You’ll get a check for sold equipment within two weeks of the Bike Swap. 

    For Buyers

    • Arrive early for the best selection of affordable bikes and gear.
    • Bring cash, card, or checks to pay for your goods.
    • Test ride potential purchases in the designated areas.
    • Ask questions about bike history and maintenance.

    Volunteer & Donation Opportunities

    The Bike Swap wouldn’t be possible without the help of volunteers! No special skills are required, just your enthusiasm. Volunteers receive perks like early-bird shopping before the event opens to the public. 

    If volunteering isn’t an option, donations to Durango DEVO are quite welcome and sincerely appreciated. Your generosity directly supports 90 coaches’ salaries and vital scholarships for 600 athletes aged 2–19. 

    Donations and sponsorships account for nearly half of Durango DEVO’s annual budget. By contributing, you’re investing in the future of cycling and empowering young athletes in the Durango community.
