These General Contest Rules apply to all contests, giveaways, and promotions conducted by Hutton Broadcasting, LLC, and VisitFourCorners.com, a division of Hutton Broadcasting, LLC. By participating in any Hutton Broadcasting, LLC contest, listeners and entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Hutton Broadcasting management.
1. Eligibility Restrictions
- Age: Entrants must be legal residents of New Mexico or the Four Corners region and 18 or 21 years of age or older at the time of entry, depending on contest-specific restrictions.
- Exclusions: Employees of Hutton Broadcasting, LLC, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors, and immediate family members are completely ineligible to participate.
- Frequency Limit: Only one (1) winner per household is permitted every 30 days.
- Major Prizes: Anyone who wins a prize valued over $600 is ineligible to win another contest for six months.
2. Entry Methods and Rules
- Telephone Entries: For call-in contests, listeners must use designated Hutton Broadcasting, LLC phone numbers. Hutton Broadcasting, LLC is not responsible for dropped calls, busy signals, or technical malfunctions.
- Digital Entries: For online, text-to-win, or app entries, Hutton Broadcasting is not liable for data lag, server errors, or incomplete submissions.
- One Entry per Person: Multiple entries using automated systems or multiple email addresses will result in immediate disqualification.
3. Prizes and Valuation
- As-Is Basis: All prizes are awarded “as-is” and are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Substitution: Hutton Broadcasting, LLC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
- Tax Liabilities: Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued for cumulative winnings valued at $600 or more in a calendar year.
4. Claiming Prizes
- Timeframe: All prizes must be claimed within [30] days of winning. Unclaimed prizes will be permanently forfeited.
- Location: Prizes must be picked up during regular business hours at Hutton Broadcasting, LLC: 2502 Camino Entrada, Suite C, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505.
- Required Documentation: Winners must present a valid government-issued photo ID and a valid Social Security number before any prize will be released.
5. Publicity and Release of Liability
- Promotional Use: By accepting a prize, the winner grants Hutton Broadcasting, LLC the absolute right to use their name, voice, broadcast recording, and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
- Hold Harmless: Participants agree to release and hold harmless Hutton Broadcasting, its parent corporation, sponsors, and employees from any and all liability or injuries resulting from the contest or the acceptance and use of any prize.
6. FCC Compliance and Hutton Broadcasting, LLC Rights
- FCC Rules: These rules comply with FCC broadcast contest regulations.
- Amendments: Hutton Broadcasting, LLC management reserves the right to amend these general rules or establish specific rules for distinct contests at any time.
- Finality: All decisions made by Hutton Broadcasting, LLC management regarding eligibility, winner selection, and rule interpretation are final and binding.
